10 Days in a Madhouse

10 Days in a Madhouse 6.7

In 1887 in New York, a female journalist named Nellie Bligh accepted the austere task of investigating the Blackwill Island insane asylum in order to prove herself in the male-dominated press. Nellie Bligh started the investigation by pretending to be crazy and fooling herself into the asylum. However, the reality of the truth is cruel, where patients have no freedom and rights to speak of, they are subjected to inhuman treatment every day, and the breath of life is getting thinner and thinner. Nellie Bligh spent ten days in the insane asylum like sleep, whether she can be brave as before, save the "patients" of the insane asylum and expose the evil in the sun.
