George Heaton's excellent war film, the plot focus is not a battle, but a well-laid out psychological warfare. The plot describes American intelligence agent Jefferson Peak being kidnapped by the Germans for Bavaria, Germany, two days before the Normandy landings. When Pike woke up from his coma, he found him in an Allied hospital, and by this time the war was over, and he had a wife named Anna. Psychiatrist Walter Gerber wanted to discuss his amnesia with Peak in an attempt to extract military information about the Normandy landings from him. At the critical moment, Peak discovered that it turned out to be a scam, playing a cat-and-mouse game with the Germans, and finally fled back to the Allied position with the help of Gerber. The suspense plot always controls the curiosity of the audience, and the three protagonists, James Garner, Eva Marie and Rod Taylor, all perform well, but the final escape action scene is relatively mediocre.
