Jack (Eddie Murphy Eddie Murphy) has a knife mouth, and he can say anything to achieve his goal. Because of this mouth, he lost a lot of friends but didn't care about it. One day, Jack's lies offend Dr. Hinga (Clive Curtis Cliff Curtis), a mysterious religious leader, who summons a banyan tree to make Jack understand his shortcomings. Sinja told Jack that there were a thousand leaves on the banyan tree, and every time Jack said a word, one leaf withered and fell. When the leaves fell out, it was Jack's deathbed. Jack, who was suddenly deprived of the right to speak freely, was in pain. The loss of the protection of language made Jack understand the true meaning of "cautious words and deeds". With the passage of time, Jack began to understand that some words could not be said at random, but some words had to be said.
