Du Depei (an Chengji), Chunzhi (Li Yinghao) and Keenan (Kim Chengcan), from China, work in a Chinese restaurant, a barber shop and a motel. An emerging development zone outside Seoul. They share friendship and moral support with each other in a difficult life. As a result of continuous development, even residents of the region with a long history have been forced to give up their farmland and leave their homes. Meanwhile, Kil-nam falls in love with a hairdresser named Jin-ok, while Chun-sik is interested in Miss Yu (Kim Po-yeon) who works in the same barber shop. The simple Depei found himself in an infatuation between Chun Chun (Lin Yizhen), an intelligent girl from the countryside, and a grumpy but charming upper-class girl.
