Outstanding student William (Patrick Fugit) gets the opportunity to write an interview for Rolling Stone Magazine before graduation. He was going to follow the rock band's itinerary for a long trip and reporting. My mother was worried about the bad style of the rock band and firmly opposed William's decision. William still set out stubbornly. His interviews were members of the band "Stillwater". These young people have not yet become famous and have gone to various places across the country to hold concerts with dreams in their hearts. They have many qualities that other rock singers have: indulgent, shouting, moody, and incited the audience to scream on the spot. At the same time, they will be addicted to drugs and have various selfish and jealous weaknesses in human nature. There is a fan named Penny (Kate Hudson) who goes back and forth with the band, but finally chooses to leave. William felt and participated in all this with his heart, and gained valuable experience from it.
