Mike (Jesse Eisenberg Jesse Eisenberg) is a complete otaku who has grown up and never stepped outside the town where he lives. On weekdays, Mike works as a cashier in the supermarket. In his spare time, he likes to draw cartoons, but the characters and stories that Mike even created will never be known to the public. Phoebe (Kristen Stewart Kristen Stewart) is Mike's girlfriend. Mike's biggest wish is to be able to overcome his fears and take Phoebe to Hawaii for a holiday. What Mike couldn't figure out was why there was suddenly wave after wave of mutant agents trying to take their lives around such ordinary people. However, when the deterioration of the situation affected the whole town and Phoebe's safety, the power hidden in Mike broke out, and he was transformed into a ruthless machine.
