The story takes place in Colorado in 1890. Cody (Madeleine Stowe Madeleine Stowe), Anita (Mary Stuart Masterson Mary Stuart Masterson), Irene (Andy McDowell Andie MacDowell) and Lily (Drew Barrymore Drew Barrymore) are four handsome young women who have to be hanged because they are molested by an officer. The other three rescued Cody before the execution, and the four embarked on a journey of escape. It never rains but it pours. On the way, they encounter a gang of robbers and their belongings are ransacked. Coincidentally, a cowboy was also looking for revenge for the robbers, and the five hit it off and decided to join hands to take revenge. In the process, Cody also collided with the handsome cowboy into a spark of love.
