Walter (Bruce Willie) is an irredeemable yuppie workaholic. when he is in urgent need of a female companion to accompany him to Japanese clients, his brother Ted takes the opportunity to arrange a blind date for Walter and his wife's cousin Nadine (Kim Basinger). Although before leaving, Ted warned Walter not to let Nadine get drunk, otherwise there would be unexpected consequences, but Walter, who was busy socializing, never expected that a few glasses of champagne would overwhelm Na.
