The silent youth Zhongzhi (Hiroshi Ikeuchi) is a hybrid from Okinawa who inherits the musical talent of his black father and is especially good at playing the blues harmonica. This homesickness of immigrants from Africa has added to a wobbly sadness over Japan. By chance, Zhongzhi rescues the injured underworld member Kenji (Seiichi Tanabe). Kenji had an affair with the team leader's wife before, so he committed a big taboo and was hunted and killed. After this encounter, the two young men who wandered to the edge became good friends. Jianer is determined to get ahead and take the position of eldest brother by any means, while Zhong Zhi becomes the lead singer of an underground band, specializing in playing the harmonica. His girlfriend was pregnant and the band was about to sign a contract. At the moment before happiness came, Zhongzhi was involved in the gang dispute over Kenji, and all the beautiful dreams came to naught.
