Bugsy Malone hopes to defeat the gangs in New York, ordering the whole city to start a shootout with Fat Sam and Dandy Dan. This film is a classic musical in the 1970s, in which the characters are all played by children, dressed in suits and gorgeous dance clothes, and fighting with a cream gun. While it is easy to laugh, it is hard not to admire the minds of the producers. The film was nominated for the 49th Academy Awards for original or adapted score, and was nominated for Best Picture (Musical / Comedy), original song "Bugsy Malone" and original soundtrack at the 34th Golden Globe Awards.
