During World War II, Casablanca was a must for Europe to escape to the United States, where the situation was mixed and tense. Rick (Humphrey Bogart Humphrey Bogart) is a mysterious businessman who runs a popular nightclub in Casablanca and has two valuable passes. One day, anti-Nazi Viktor and his wife Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman Ingrid Bergman) come to the nightclub, originally they are fleeing the Nazis. Coincidentally, Rick found out that Ilsa turned out to be his old lover. That love was once unforgettable, but it ended because of a misunderstanding. And when the misunderstanding cleared up, the relationship between Ilsa and Rick was inevitably rekindled. The two passes in Rick's hand can help Victor tide over the difficulties, but in this way, Ilsa decides whether to stay or leave, and where their love is going in the political and ethical tide.
