The story takes place in 1632 in Denmark, where a cruel execution is being carried out in a remote town. an old woman faces the tragic fate of being burned alive because she is accused of being a witch. Before dying, the angry old man sets a curse. For the priest in charge of the execution, the evil curse cannot harm him, who represents justice, but for the priest's wife Annie (Lisbeth Movin), what is happening before her is unforgettable. From then on, Anne seemed to be a different person. There was no love in the marriage between Anne and the priest, but the handsome son of the priest attracted Anne's attention. with the development of time, the relationship between the two became closer and closer, and finally crossed the line of ethics.
