Burns, an elite US Marine Corps officer, was ordered to be stationed at the US Embassy in the Middle East, responsible for security issues inside the embassy. However, under the ambassador's "foresight", in order to avoid causing dissatisfaction with the local government, he began to slash the number of defensive troops and their authority.
