Don't Be Afraid of the Dark 5.6

After saying goodbye to her mother for a while, the little girl Sally (Bailey Madison Bailee Madison) flies to a different place alone to get together with her father Alex (Guy Pierce Guy Pearce). Sally is depressed by her parents' divorce, and she doesn't have much interest in her father's new girlfriend Jim (Katie Holmes Katie Holmes). After a bumpy ride, Sally came to her father's newest apartment, a 19th-century mansion in the suburbs. The house had previously belonged to the famous animal painter Blackwood (Garry McDonald), but the painter mysteriously disappeared. While playing, Sally stumbled upon a basement. In order to please her daughter, Alex forcibly opened the dusty room despite the warning of the caretaker. At the same time, mysterious and horrible events occurred one after another, and the secrets of the old house were gradually revealed. This film is based on the 1973 ABC TV movie of the same name.
