Emil Helberg had just been demobilized from the army in the summer of 1961. He came to DEFA Pictures in Babsberg: a place full of endless magic and creative optimism. Behind a huge arch, he saw a film company with a long history called DreamWorks. His brother, Alexander, worked in the company's landscape team, and he got a job for Emile. Although Emile knew little about the film industry, he reluctantly took the job because he had no plans for the future. However, when he was doing a group performance for a film, he met a French dancer named Milu, and everything began to change. Milu is a dance stand-in for Beatrice Morley, a famous French movie star. Emile was so impressed by her beautiful appearance and amazing dancing that he fell in love with her at first sight. After several attempts, Emile finally had an impromptu dinner with Milu. Unfortunately, Miru had to go back to France the next day, so Emil was going to surprise Milu the next morning. Emile created a dreamy dance stage for Milu all night. ...
