The elderly Frank (Robert de Niro Rovert De Niro) used to be a worker who coated the wires, and his work protected the wires from the outside world. Frank also took good care of his four children, but in the eight months after his wife's death, he found himself farther and farther away from the children. In spite of the doctor's advice, Frank embarked on a journey to visit four children alone. However, Frank's youngest son, who is supposed to be a painter, is missing, and the married life of his eldest daughter Amy (Kate Beckinsale) doesn't seem to be as happy as it seems. Robert (Sam Rockwell Sam Rockwell), who was supposed to be a band conductor, is actually just a drummer, while his daughter Rosie (Drew Barrymore Drew Barrymore), who has loved dancing since childhood, also seems to be hiding something from her father. In this way, old Frank set out on his way home with suspicion. On the way, Frank was admitted to the hospital because of a heart attack. The children finally gathered in front of Frank's hospital bed, but the youngest son was still.
