The successive deaths of his girlfriend Mary (Diane Meyer) and colleagues plunged FBI agent Jack (Sylvester Stallone) into despair and collapse because he knows very well that this ruthless killer is coming for him. In pain and nowhere to vent, Jack has to seek help from alcohol. Hendricks (Charles Dutton) couldn't bear to see his best friend degenerate, so he advised Jack to quit drinking. In this way, Jack comes to an alcohol addiction center in the Wyoming wilderness, where he meets assistant Hank (Tom Berenger) and nurse Jenny (Polly Walker). A terrible snowstorm destroyed the circuits of the alcohol addiction center and the boiler that relied on for heating. In the darkness and cold, Jack had to face not only his own demons, but also the murderer hidden in the shadows.
