William Foster, played by Michael Douglas, is an engineer in a military factory who is depressed after being fired. Because of the divorce, the little girl's birthday was not invited, and there happened to be a traffic jam on the road. he abandoned his car and walked into a grocery store, trying to find some change to make a phone call, but it was difficult. He picked up a softball bat and smashed the shop. While resting in the park, he got into another fight with the hooligans; in a dispute with the waiter in the fast food restaurant, he pulled out the pistol he had seized from the hooligans and fired indiscriminately, when he was completely out of control. Finally, facing the gunpoint of a retired police officer, he couldn't help asking himself, "am I a bad guy?"
