John's father, Frank (Dennis Quaid), died 30 years ago during a fire-fighting operation. Once, while looking through his father's belongings, John (James Caviezel) discovered an old radio that his father used 30 years ago. While casually scrolling through the frequency band, he actually hooked up with a young man named Frank. After a long talk all night long, John determined that time and space had gone astray. This Frank was his father 30 years ago. John was very excited and successfully helped his father escape the disaster 30 years ago. When he woke up and was surprised to find his white-haired father in the photo frame, he knew he had succeeded. However, what is unexpected is that everything in history has been rewritten. John saved his father, but his mother died in a serial murder many years ago.
