George (Tim Roth Tim Russell) and Ann (Naomi Watts Naomi Wirtz) take their sons and dogs to a villa on an island outside the city for a holiday, but the original beautiful holiday is spoiled by two uninvited guests. Two well-dressed young men knocked on George's door and asked them to borrow eggs. Ann received them warmly, but the eggs were broken again and again intentionally or unintentionally, and their phones were knocked into the water. Ann's patience reached the limit and ordered them to leave their house. Instead of listening, the young man intensified and began to torture and slaughter the George family without mercy. The film won the 2008 Junior Hollywood Award for Best Actor in a Visual Angle (Brady Corbet).
