"Gentleman Blanco" follows the usual neurotic "boring" comedy line of Jared Hess, but adds parody of classic science fiction films of the 1970s and 1980s, including Star Trek, Lucas's five hundred years later, and so on. The story tells that Benjamin, a high school student played by Michael Angrano, attends a science fiction / fantasy writer training summer camp, but can't imagine his own hard-written story. It was stolen by Ronald Shevari, the camp's mentor and the world's most famous science fiction writer. And Sam Rockwell plays the hero in Benjamin's story-it's fun to see him in cheap silver tights, riding a robot reindeer and an one-eyed weirdo.
