After her husband's death, Jiafei Dieko (played by Sukeko Kawagawa) struggled to support the French restaurant "Avignon" left by his late husband for four years, and his business finally improved. One day, the painter Gao Jian Yadao (Gao Zhenghong) came to visit. He had an old painting hanging in the shop, so he hoped that the restaurant could temporarily release the painting to help him hold a personal exhibition. Dianzi readily agreed, but in the back of the painting, he found a confession letter left to his wife by his late husband Yizhi (Guwei Yaya), which revealed the secret that had been hidden in his heart for many years. On the other hand, Yukio Araki (Xia Xijie) and his wife Shisa (Tian Junko) take a fancy to Avingnon, and the couple conspire to keep it for themselves.
