Barbara Graham is an immoral woman who often lingers in all kinds of low-end bars, mingles with social scum, occasionally engages in petty criminal activities, and has been sentenced many times for non-violent cases such as forged documents. While carrying out criminal activities with several other criminals, the gang was tracked down by the police and the gang was arrested. Members of the gang thought the police were recruited by Barbara, so they retaliated against her by framing her as the main culprit in a murder committed by the gang, for which Barbara was tried for murder.
