This film is based on the British writer Charlotte Bronte's original book of the same name. Jane Eyre (Charlotte Gansbu Charlotte Gainsbourg), who lost her parents as a child, lives in her aunt's house, is bullied by her cousin and indifferent to her aunt from an early age, and is sent to a strict church girls' school when she is older. Jane Eyre, who grew up in a cold and stereotyped environment, did not become a psychologically twisted girl, but became independent and self-reliant, and accumulated extraordinary knowledge and accomplishment. As an adult, she became a tutor of the Thornfield Noble Manor. The male host, Mr. Rochester (William Hutt William Hurt), has a violent personality and acts mysteriously. Jane didn't like the man at first, but as they got to know each other, Mr. Rochester realized that Jane was different and fell in love with her. Jane was also strongly attracted by Mr. Rochester, but something strange always happened in the mansion at night. there seems to be an amazing secret hidden in the manor.
