Josie, who lives in his own world, roams in the ocean of paintings and books he is interested in. She, who has been sitting in a wheelchair since childhood, got the help of a college student Hengfu when she almost fell on a dangerous slope one day. Hengfu, who specializes in marine biology, works part-time day and night in order to realize his dream of seeing dreamy schools of fish living only in Mexico. Qianjin, his grandmother, who was dependent on Josie, saw such a Hengfu and introduced him to a part-time job. The job is to listen to Josie's demands and find ways to satisfy her. However, Josie, who is stubborn and not good at communicating with others, is very mean to Hengfu, who doesn't care that Josie is disabled and responds to her bluntly. In this way, the distance between the two sides shortened and they began to get to know each other. In the course of their contact, Josie also made up his mind to go with Hengfu to see the outside world he had always dreamed of. The film is adapted from Tanabe Shengzi's novel Jose and the Tigers and the Fish.
