In a noisy corner of the city, a single mother Kotoko (Cocco) and her infant son Dajiro live alone in an old apartment. For quite a long time, Kotoko was so troubled by mental problems that all the people who appeared in front of her would become two. She could not tell which was true and which was false, and her nervous fear was fragile to the limit. It was only when she sang that the vision disappeared temporarily. At the same time, the excessive worry and protection of Dajiro made Kotoko's mental state worse and worse, and finally she had to face the fate of parting with her son. One day, Kotoko meets the unimpressive novelist Qingtaro Tanaka (Tsukamoto Jin). Qingtaro was infatuated with Kotoko's singing and launched a bold pursuit of her. In the face of this pessimistic, desperate, self-destructive woman, Tanaka tried every means to warm and cure Kotoko's heart riddled with holes. The film won the Horizon Unit Award at the 2011 Venice Film Festival.
