In the autumn of 1944, Finnish soldier Vijk and Soviet second Lieutenant Ivan were rescued from death by the mysterious woman Anna and brought back to their paradise-like residence. Although the three people do not understand the language, they enjoy such a quiet life. When the news of the armistice came, the trio's life could not go on any longer. In the face of the feelings that sprang up in their hearts, Viick and Ivan once again stood in front of the crossroads of life.
