Maid is the second feature film by young Chilean director Sebastian Siva. The protagonist of the story is a maid who has served the master's family for 23 years. Chilean maid Raquel (Katarina Saavedra Catalina Saavedra) is a traditional upper-middle-class family servant in Chile. She took care of the big family by herself, and the alarm went off every day to start a busy day, cooking, washing, cleaning, taking care of three spoiled little boys and two big girls against her. She has served in this family for 23 years and knows everyone's secret, just like a member of the family, even the master has to respect her. The hostess sympathized with Raquel's hard work and decided to help her find an assistant. But work was all about Raquel's life, and there was no room for others to cross the line in this field, and she tried her best to get rid of the new maid. Until Lucy, the kind and simple new maid, opened a door to Raquel's self-imprisoned heart.
