L'aveu 8.0

Based on an autobiography, the film tells the story of a Czech purge in the early 1950s, in which the protagonist was falsely accused of treason and faced the pain of whether he should bear this trumped-up charge for the benefit of the organization. The performance of the film is excellent, but there is a lot of dialogue, and the story has no emotional sublimation. As a living textbook of history, it still has its value. 28th Golden Globe Awards (1971) Film Category-Best Foreign language Film (nominated) 24th British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (1971) United Nations Award (nominated)
