Permeated with youthful romance on the Harvard campus, the rich kid Oliver (Ryan O'Neill Ryan O'Neal) meets the smart and lovely girl Jennifer (Ellie McGuire Ali MacGraw). He is deeply attracted by the girl's witty beauty, and the two quickly fall in love.
