Loving

Loving 7.0

Mildred and Richard Loving love each other and decide to get married. It's only natural, but he's white and she's black. It was 1958, and apartheid still prevailed in the United States. Virginia, where the Loving live, decided to take the couple to court: the couple were sentenced to prison unless the man left the state. Richard and Mildred felt that the verdict was a violation of the rights of the two people and decided to appeal. In 1967, the two men appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. The court overturned the verdict of Virginia. Since then, the "Loving v. Virginia" judgment has become a symbol of free love regardless of race.
