At the bottom of the Yoshihara profile, men and women indulge in pleasure. The beautiful Chiyo (painted by Nakagawa) stands alone in the depths of the night shadow, no one cares. Several of her guests died for some reason, causing Chiyo to get a horrible nickname "death". She pins her hopes on her lover's rich collection (Akira Takahashi), but this is another unpromising punk who betrays his lover for money. Repeatedly deceived in a trance, Chiyo sees a blind girl who is about to be executed for adultery (Yamashiro), and thus becomes acquainted with Meggie, her husband who occasionally ignores his wife. Meggie feels the joy of being a human being from Chiyo, and hopes to go away with it and leave this hopeless place.
