In 1980, Jiang Minyu (Jin Xiangqing), a taxi driver living in Guangzhou, and his younger brother Jiang Zhenyu (Li Junji) lived an ordinary life. The two brothers, whose parents died since childhood, have deep feelings. Min Yu takes care of his younger brother, who dreams of becoming a judge, while he likes nurse Park Shenai (Li Yaoyuan). He often goes to the same church with each other. One day in May, unimaginable terror suddenly came, and innocent students and citizens were beaten, brutally and even killed by army soldiers. The tragedy occurred, watching relatives and friends become ghosts one by one. Under the leadership of Park Hsing-soo (an Shengji), who came from a retired general school, the "citizen team", which broke out in anger, began a ten-day battle.
