Farm teenager Jonas (Josh Wiggins) meets his new neighbor Kathy (Sophie Nellis), and they quickly fall in love when they are young and frivolous. But first love always brings pain, and Jonas unexpectedly discovers that Kathy's father, Wayne (Bill Peston), who is a local policeman, is not only corrupt and dereliction of duty, but also does some illegal activities, and even shows no mercy. Jonas, who wanted to protect Kathy, stole Wayne's bag of money from an unknown source, only to take the beloved girl to a safe place. What he did not expect, however, was that the dubious bag of money, coupled with the brutal Wayne, and other equally mercenary black police, would pose a fatal danger to the young couple.
