Takagi, an ordinary office worker, wakes up on Monday, only to find himself in a hotel room. He is puzzled and can only keep getting back his memory. He remembers the night of the wake, when the hospital called to say that the cardiac pacemaker of the dead body (played by Shinobu Ando) would explode and a thread had to be cut. Then he told it to his girlfriend (Shangmei Nishida) and laughed incessantly, which was counterproductive. Life is boring, he went to the bar to get drunk, but began a series of strange encounters. He remembers meeting the underworld leader, a beautiful dancing woman (Matsuko Matsuki), and even killing people himself. The TV picture also reminded him more, and he began to feel that he had no way out. So he wrote a suicide note, but it got longer and longer, and finally he picked up the wine in exasperation.
