In order to realize the photographer's dream, the young Takahashi Takahashi (Hai Dong Jian) moved from his hometown in Huagu Village, Tokushima Prefecture to the bustling metropolis of Tokyo and worked hard step by step towards his goal. One day, Nomahara of Huagu Village Government visited Takahashi. His hometown was going to build a reservoir, and the village of Takahashi would be submerged underwater. The villagers hope that Takahashi and his father Kenichi (also played by Tenglong) will take a family photo for each family and publish a "mountain village album" as a final memento. Because of the contradiction with his father, Takahashi does not want to go back. Under his girlfriend (Wu Peici), he is on his way home. Takahashi shuttles up and down the mountain path with his stubborn father every day, looking for every family. Father and son go from embarrassing silence to mutual understanding, and Ah Hsiao also has different feelings for his hometown in the process of photography.
