George Henry Sanders (George Henry Sanders) (July 3, 1906-April 25, 1972) is a Russian-born English film and television actor, songwriter, music composer and writer. He has been an actor for over 40 years. His upper-class English accent and bass often portray him as a sophisticated and despicable character. He is probably best known for Jack Jack Favell of Rebecca (1940), Scott Fleet (Scott Folliott) of Foreign Correspondent (1940) (rare heroic character), and Addison DeWitt (Addison DeWitt) of everything on the Eve (1950). King Richard and the Lionheart in the Crusaders (1954), Mr. Fritz (1966) in the two episodes of Batman, the vicious hate voice of the human tiger Sher Khan in Disney's Jungle Book (1967), and the "Saints" in five Simon Templar films in the 1930s and 1940s.
