The fearless Leo (Alice Taglioni) calls himself "the best policeman on the French Riviera." After she was shocked to learn that her colleague Lu, who was like a brother and sister, was murdered in Hamburg, she was determined to find out the truth. But her boss (Noemi Lovsky) has other ideas and insists on turning the case over to a German super policeman. Leo would never let an investigation be conducted by someone who is "golden and corrupt", especially when she hears that the policeman is the charming and overtrained Melanie (Steffi Selma). The two grumpy but conflicting characters are forced into an unstable partnership, unaware that the city of Nice is facing an imminent threat, and the relationship between them is closer than thought.
