In this film, Garbo plays a Russian female cadre who is sent to Paris to investigate the progress of three men in selling a batch of czarist jewelry. These three men seem to have been corrupted by capitalism. Unexpectedly, she could not help thawing her thoughts after being in the free and romantic flower capital, and had an inextricable love affair with the local middle-aged American man. And this man was sent by the former owner of the jewelry to stop them from working.
