Zahira grew up in a Pakistani family in Belgium. Because of an unintended pregnancy, she is now sitting in a doctor's office asking how she can get rid of the baby. Hesitant, Sheila decided to ask friends and family for help. Although her family expressed understanding and sympathy for her, they silently helped her find three distant relatives as the object of marriage. Her parents let her choose one of them, and felt that her daughter had got the "freedom" she had never dared to imagine. In the religious secularity and the desire to pursue her own life, Zahira must make a choice.
