The film is based on real news events. Oleg, the butcher, came to work in Belgium from Latvia, but when he ran up against a brick wall everywhere, he did not find a job, but fell into the hands of Andre, the rogue foreman. He found his life gradually plunging into despair. The film, the second feature film by Latvian director Juris Cusettis, premiered in the director's biweekly unit at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019.
