Ten years ago, truck driver Lin Cologne Hook (Sylvester Stallone Sylvester Stallone) abandoned his wife and children and chose to live a wandering life. With the passage of time and the accumulation of experience, he gradually realized the importance of family, and his thoughts for his wife and children became stronger and stronger. One summer, Hogg's son Mike Cutler (David Mendenhall) is about to have a summer vacation, while his mother, Cristina (Susan Brackley Susan Blakely), is hospitalized because of illness. Entrusted by his wife, Hawk came to his son's school to meet Mike for the first time in 10 years. Mike is cold and even hostile to the sudden appearance of his father because of Grandpa Jason (Robert Laurgia Robert Loggia)'s long demonized description of his father. Hawk is full of apologies and is bent on repairing the emotional rift between father and son. On the other hand, Cristina's condition was getting worse, and the overbearing Jason would never allow Hawk to get in touch with his grandson. In order to win back his lost affection, Hawk decided to do whatever it takes.
