Engineer Jennings (Ben Affleck) is a high-tech genius. He was repeatedly employed on various projects and received generous remuneration, but in order to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, the condition was that his short-term memories would be erased from his brain after completion. Jennings 'reward for this mission reached sky-high prices, and he had to spend several years devoted to the development of this new product. When the product was completed, something unexpected happened. Instead of receiving the promised remuneration, Jennings received an envelope containing a statement that he voluntarily waived remuneration. Jennings was surprised, and when he tried to find out, he found that the trouble was getting bigger and bigger. Both the FBI and company bosses were chasing him hard to kill him. This series of mysterious events convinced Jennings that there must be an unknown truth behind it. Sure enough, a thorough conspiracy gradually surfaced as he investigated it.
