In the middle of the blue sea, there stands a killing island. It is entrenched with all kinds of beasts such as tigers, lions and poisonous snakes, as well as tyrannical and cruel monsters such as two-headed giants, but more powerful than them is the legendary sailor Sinbad (voiced by Garth Wikipedia Gus Wickie) who has never met a rival all over the world. He is entrenched in a castle in the middle of the island, with a roaring lion acting as a watchdog. He sings praises for himself every day and is intoxicated with it. On this day, at the end of the horizon came a ship, on which sat the brave Popeye (Jack Messer Jack Mercer), the beautiful girl Oliver (voiced by Mey Quistol Mae Questel), and the gluttonous Mr. Wimpi (voiced by Loveshe Lou Fleischer). Sinbad coveted Oliver's beauty, so he instructed the strange bird to damage the ship and rob the beauty. Taking this as an opportunity, the war between the two brave sailors began. This film is the first of Popeye's three color special editions, and the other two are Alibaba and Aladdin.
