Marion (Janet Janet Leigh), who works in Phoenix, Arizona, hastens a rendezvous with her boyfriend at noon every day, but her boyfriend refuses to divorce because he doesn't have the money to pay alimony to his ex-wife. On this day, Marion wanted to deposit $40, 000 into the bank for her boss. On impulse, she decided to abscond with the money. It rained again after she changed cars along the way. Suffering physically and mentally, she saw a Bates motel by the side of the road and decided to stay overnight. Norman (Anthony Perkins Anthony Perkins), the owner of the Bates motel, is a young man with a good personality, but he is in awe of his mother in his room.
