At the beginning of the film, director and leading actor Albert Brooks sat in a beautiful office and introduced that "Real Life" and the trailer were both in 3D (a white lie) and required wearing 3D glasses to watch it, or borrowing red and blue cellophane from the theater (neither exists), and the more he spoke, the more excited he became, pointing his hand exaggeratedly at the camera and saying,"The movie may be you!" He even jokingly splashed the finished water at the camera to "quench his thirst". Finally, Brown, the seemingly unrelated table tennis champion, appeared. Albert invited him to stay, and he held up the cellophane to watch him play. Then he couldn't help but say,"Oh my God, it looks like you are real!
