Ricky Lance (Bill Murray Bill Murray), an out-of-date rock and roll agent, finds himself alone in Kabul, penniless and without a passport, when he arranges his last tour for his clients in Afghanistan. Down and out, he found Salima (Lim Rubani Leem Lubani), a young girl with a beautiful voice, so he decided to send the girl to the most popular local talent show, the Star of Afghanistan.
