The film is adapted from Naoki award writer Yi Ji Yuanjing's novel of the same name, which tells the story of Sha Ye-hsiang, an eight-year-old girl whose dog died (played by Shiji Niizu), and an old man who lost his young son many years ago. The touching story of the loss that gradually warms the heart when the important family members leave.
