In the era of silent movies, the shape of actors was far more important than sound. Lina (Jane Hagen Jean Hagen) is a popular star partner with Don (Gene Kelly Gene Kelly) because of her ingratiating appearance. However, with the development of technology, sound movies came out, which baffled Lina, who had a terrible voice. No matter how much she trains, she can't read her lines brightly. So, Don invited the sweet Kathy (Debbie Reynolds Debbie Reynolds) to be the voice behind Lina's musical, which made Lina's performance famous. And the popular Lina is even more defiant. Tang often cooperates closely with Casey and his good friend Kosmo (Donald O-Connor Donald O'Connor). Tang even has a spark with Casey, and the two admire each other. A heavy rain gave Tang boundless inspiration. But how did he give the talented Casey the fame and status he deserved?
