Stagecoach 7.9

In the western United States in the 19th century, a carriage was driving in the desert. There are nine passengers who are strangers on the bus. Among them are the town-driven prostitute Dallas (Claire Trevor Claire Trevor), an alcoholic doctor Doc Boone (Thomas Mitchell Thomas Mitchell), the pregnant woman Lucy Mallory looking for her husband, the whisky businessman Samuel Peacock, and Ringo Kid (John Wayne John Wayne) who avenges his father's escape from prison. There was a lot of danger along the way, and the carriage had to avoid being hunted by the Indians, and Dallas had to endure the contempt and snub of others, except for Ringo, who was fond of her. And Ringo has to deal with his relationship with the police. Lucy, a pregnant woman, is about to give birth halfway. Can a drunken doctor survive? After a journey full of hardships, can the two marginalized people, Ringo and Dallas, come together at last? The film won five Oscar nominations in 1940 and won two awards for best supporting actor and best score.
